STILL NOT FITTING IN

"Still Not Fitting In" (5-14-17 004v2c[2]) was just slightly edited (mostly just cropping). It's a two year old pic, but somehow feels older. Probably means I took shots of this same tree many years ago and have since deleted or morphed them all out of recognition. I do know I always stopped at this lawn and checked out this heavily pruned tree and shadows, etc. Although the chances of taking more long walks to see it get less with each passing day, I may yet be able to. If not, as I've said here a few times before, I'm grateful for the all the photos I took on those two years or so of longs walks.

GRATEFUL FOR THE MEMORY

"Grateful for the Memory" (4-15-13 1259ev3[2]) was just slightly edited to fix some little issues I've always had with this old pic. Think I've finally dealt with them decently. Of course, who knows what I'll think when I come across it in another few years. :-) Anyway, the title says it all. We used to get these sweet orchids in our community's promenade garden. But there haven't been any in many seasons. I suppose whoever cared for them is no longer living here.

CROUCHING TIGER

"Crouching Tiger" (6-28-09 2985v4x[4]) is a reference to both the famous movie ("Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon") and to the martial arts move called crouching tiger. The pic is a reworking of a very old version of a 10 year old pic of mine, that I just did this morning. I have some nits to pick with it, but don't have the editing program with which to try to address them. So, here it is, nits (warts? :-D) and all.
