CONTAINMENT

"Containment" (5-27-17 023v3) was taken yesterday and just fussed with this morning. What else to say? I've said many times here how much I love looking at these eucalyptus roots. It was a good late morning to take the bunch of shots this one is among. It was still a little hazy so there weren't any of the usual extremely bright spots of sunlight coming through to make the resulting shots problematic (for me and my lack of expertise). I could just endlessly fool with the shapes/lines of this pic and not have to somehow incorporate/recolor distracting white splotches. :-) And this pic is best viewed in a larger version because of all the little details; so just click on the image if you're curious.

LOVE ASCENDANT

"Love Ascendant" (7-3-13 005v4) was just fudged with a bit. It was an old version of (guess what :-D) an even older pic. I'm surprised I hadn't posted it before, although it's possible I did. I have less and less patience these days for tracking those sorts of things. Even if it was posted before it would have been a long time ago. And I did make some improvements to it today ... at least I think I did.

EYE ON SUMMER

"Eye on Summer" (7-11-13 005v7h) is a very old version of a very old pic, just now fussed with a little bit. A small amount of cropping and color intensifying, but basically the same old version. Love these bright colors.

FISHING FOR THE LIGHT

"Fishing for the Light" (5-20-18 006v2) was morphed a couple days ago from a new pic, and just now slightly color adjusted (only adding that wee bit of pale aqua to its basic black and white). It's still a little bit apparent (at least to me :-D) that the shot was up into a willow tree against a sunny sky. Try clicking on the image if you'd like to see more of the details. In fact, this is one of those pix that looks (IMHO) considerably better in a larger version.

BELLY UP TO THE BAR, GUYS!

"Belly Up to the Bar, Guys!" (5-2-10 10048v2) was just now tortured out of a very old pic of mine. I do so love looking at these sorts of leaves (canna). Only thing better than that is to fuss at a pic of them until it would squeal if it could.

SEMAPHORE

"Semaphore" (5-14-17 004v2b) was just fussed yesterday out of a very new pic. I frequently pass this tree on my walks and this was the first time I've taken any shots of it. I was actually trying to capture the contrast between the bright yellow dandelions and tiny purple flowers around its "feet." But that came to nothing as the sun was too bright on the yellow and other patches of the pic. But in trying for that pic, I had become so fond of the tree's trunk and large curvy branches that I went haring off after a version emphasizing them. This is one of four versions in the folder at present. :-) I'd suggest clicking on the image in order to see the details; I fudged a lot with the "texture."
