PRESENTATION
"Presentation" (SS-2 10-5-19[2]) may be a re-post, as it's a very old pic of mine. I know it has appeared on my dreams&poetry blog, as that's where I stumbled across it this morning in a many years-old post. I don't know what its original title is; if in fact, I ever gave it one. I did not initially title my pix. That only started when I began this blog exclusive to pix. But all that said, I've always liked this pic. It captures that lovely "soft sculpture" effect these lilies offer up. In this particular photo, it even seems more to me like draped cloth or even a vague water fall.

HOUSEPLANTS, TOO (revision of old haiga)
You can see by the date on the bottom of this haiga (image with haiku) that it's quite old. I'm sure I've posted "Houseplants, Too" (Haiga 10507v2[4]) here years ago, but want to share the revision I made of it today. I wish I could improve the focus, but given how small and old the pic is, and my lack of sophisticated photo editing programs, this will have to do. However, I do like the very soft color (the original is black, white, and gray) and the sort of misty effect I added today. Have always liked this haiga overall, and have just had trouble with the quality of the photo once I had the text on it. Maybe someday I'll go back to the original pic, re-enter the text, and see if I can produce results with which I'm happier. Of course, I'm afraid the original (before text is added) is not of such good quality. I vaguely recall I cropped it from a much larger pic, making for a photo that would go wonky rather readily. Oh well, if I ever find myself with nothing else pressing -- or a desire to just run away from all that is on my shoulders to do -- I can can search for the original photo and see what can and can't be done. BTW, the mood of this haiga reflects how I often feel.

AUTUMN'S DANCE
I just fudged "Autumn's Dance" (Screenshots 2 9-29-19[4]) from another very old pic of mine. Mostly moving the colors toward the warm end of the spectrum. But also some slight fussing at distracting spots. (For once, the sorts of spots I was after were recognized by Windows 10's Photo Editor and dealt with as I wanted them to be. All too often, the Editor doesn't respond at all or does some really ugly thing. I haven't yet figured out if I don't really understand this particular function of the Editor, or if it's just plain wonky!) I'm not over the moon about this pic, but it'll do for a post. Especially as I've not put up a photo in some time. And it does remind me of the changes I'm beginning to see around our grounds in the gardens. (I really mustn't forget to go back behind our A and B buildings soon. The tree leaves back there will be turning such wonderful reds.)
