The source pic for "Intersections" (2-16-16 014v2) is several months old (though I just fussed this version out of it this morning). I've been taking pix of this building across the road from the retirement community I live in since it's beginning as a hole in the ground. But the vast majority are taken from way further down to the left of this shot's vantage point. Of course, the building has progressed a lot (if very slowly it seems) since this pic. It now has walls and windows but still looks very unfinished. My dinner table mates and I watch it's progress from a window right by our table and are intrigued by how many layers of color have gone up on its walls. Salmon, yellow, salmon again, and what looks like paper with the word "Tyvek" on it ... seems the building will be well insulated (smile). OK, I just googled Tyvec and it's a synthetic material used to protect buildings during construction. Anyway, I like this earlier shot largely because of the contrast between those foreground plants reaching straight up, and the building and crane and street light reaching up behind.
