"What's the Point?" (11-17-17 013v2) was worked on a bit yesterday from a very recent photo. Just some cropping, color/contrast work, and a wee bit of painting over of dark distracting spots on that sidewalk. As I said about my last post pix -- taken among these same eucalyptus trees/roots -- I was happy to catch them on a hazy day. Usually I have to cope with spots of bright sunlight that bloom and distract. Given my lack of tech expertise, that usually forces me into more abstract sorts of pix when I start going at them on my computer screen. Nah, tell a lie, that's never a problem with these roots. Even as I'm snapping pix of them my imagination is taking me weird places with their shapes and shadows. With or without blooming patches of light on them. Though I will say it's fun to be able to leave some in the realm of realism. :-)
