THE TREES DREAM OF THE SEA

"The Trees Dream of the Sea" (1-30-17 015v4) was just fussed out of a six month old pic. Not over the moon about it but it has something that tickles my fancy. If only that it's based on tree branches. And kept my crazy mind occupied with something other than its usual senseless maundering for a little while as I edited and re-edited.

THE DAWNING

"Dawning" (9-11-13 005v2a) was just edited from an old pic version. Mostly color saturation, darkening that background, and a bit of painting out of distractions. Oh, and some diffusing and sharpening...and cropping. LOL, seems I did more to it than I realized.

HEART BYPASS

"Heart Bypass" (9-10-09 6726ev3d) was just morphed as always from an old version of a very old pic. Not taking any new pix, hardly at all. I see things but they just don't compel me to take out my camera. And I do have such a good time fussing at the thousands of old pix I have on this computer. I'll probably have lots of new morphs of old pix to share soon as I've got to "thin the herd." It's approaching 13,000 pix which is beyond the limit I set for myself a while back. So I have to start doing some serious deleting. However, it's not as simple as that (as I've said here before) because in that process I rediscover pix I want to work on or fudge with. Therefore, I'm usually only able to get down to about 12,000 at a very sloooow rate. I find it difficult to "pass by" too many of those old pix.

TAKING STEPS

"Taking Steps" (4-18-10 10020v2c) was just morphed from (yep) an old version of an old pic. F.Y.I., just in case I can only see the staircase beneath all this fudging because I know it's there, that's what the original is of: an outdoor staircase in the retirement community in which I live. "Tiger Serpent Rising" (6-28-09 2985v4r) was morphed a couple days ago from an old version of one of my oldest pix, and just now fussed with a wee bit more. Love all these bright colors in one pic. It's rare they don't wind up looking garish (well, at least IMHO, they aren't in this pic).

Tim-BER!

"Tim-BER!" (8-5-09 4956v2b) is an old version of one of my oldest pix. Did very little to it today, just some color saturation, and sharpening to bring out the details a little bit more. That twisty, sort of being pushed over, tree-like shape tickles me.
