DAWN BREAKS

"Dawn Breaks" (9-11-13 005v2b) was posted here, a long time ago (title then was "Dawning"). I've tweaked it somewhat, though it's essentially the same. Just some increase of contrast, toning down of white areas on the petals, diffusing, and ... I think that was it. Oh, yes, I fussed with the yellowish color to bring out the stamens a bit more, and toned down the blue in the petals. All of it not amounting to much of a difference, but I like it a bit better. There may be many repeats and tweaked pix here in the future as I've been going through and organizing my rather surprisingly huge stash of prints of pix. Yeah, I really hadn't realized how many I have of my pix over the years. And now that I've been eyeballing so many I hadn't taken the time to really look at in ages, I have the urge to re-post some as is, and re-work others.

THE EMBRYO CASTS A NEW LIGHT

"The Embryo Casts A New Light" (9-15-18 NewPicture 4k) was just morphed out of a very old version of an even older pic of mine. (Yeah, strange it's titled "NewPicture..." but that was done automatically by my system when saving it off of a post I'd made of it years ago to my blog online. So I just left it, as it is now a new pic.) Not all that happy with this version (I already have several). But I don't have more time to fuss or try another new version. And this does come close to what my imagination keeps pulling me towards when I look at the pic.

READY FOR HALLOWEEN

"Ready for Halloween" (9-28-18 026v3) was morphed a couple of weeks ago. At the time, I was not actually thinking of Halloween when these colors popped on my screen as I tried different combos. Ah Hah, I thought then, perfect for (well, at least vaguely suggesting) Halloween. I have my own costume for our retirement community's party all together. Except for some adjustments I have to make to the hat. But I'm still not certain I'll actually go. It's usually a lot of fun, but I'm still not feeling very social. And our costume parties are nothing if not very social. Literally! So crowded one does well to wend one's way from one side of the dance floor to another. I don't really dance, but I do manage a lot of bouncing around, clinging to my walking stick! I'm just not certain I have the will or the energy to deal with all that right now. Well, the party's not for another week. The decision can hang a while. And I can enjoy the Halloween pix that show up on my computer screen in the meantime, like this one did.

TREE OF TRICKS OR TREATS

"Tree of Tricks or Treats" (9-28-18 002v2c) was morphed a few weeks ago, but further fudged with today. It's original source pic (along with it's many versions) is another of those I just don't seem able to leave alone. I keep coming back to one version or another of it, to fuss over it some more. In a way, that seems fair. After all its images pester my imagination every time I see it (and it's morphs)!

WORLD EGG

"World Egg" (10-10-18 10008v2c) was morphed right after "Snakes in the Grass" that I posted here yesterday. And it couldn't be more different in mood, could it? Yet it has it's own sadness. I say that as I see a broken world egg in it.
