WATCHING THE WORLD GO BY

"Watching the World Go By" (11-2-17 011v2c) was just now morphed from a selfie in a mirror, in my Halloween costume ("Spider Old Woman"), taken right before that night's party. Most of the pix I attempted are pretty awful (this is one of those occasions on which I regret my resistance to becoming more technically proficient with my camera). But I am still having great fun morphing them into moody scenes. Click here to see another of those moody morphs that I posted earlier today to my dreams&poetry blog. BTW, I'm not bald, nor did my costume appear to make me so. I wear my long hair pulled straight back and it's white. So it too often looks as if I'm bald in pix. Especially if there's direct overhead lighting. LOL! Not to mention what overhead lighting does to all my wrinkles! Yikes. I'm making a note to myself (seriously!) that next Halloween I need to include a wide brimmed hat in my costume somehow. (I've noted that produces somewhat better photos, blocking the bright glare of overhead lighting.) At least, my aging ego finds pix in which I'm wearing a wide brimmed hat a bit easier to accept. Hey, allow an old lady (I'll be 74 in January) what little's left of her vanity.
