"Fanciful Fuchsia" (8-7-14 006v2) was just fussed out of the old original pic. Since I took this pic almost three years ago I've tortured many a version out of it, but kept deleting them. The arrangement of those roses always makes for a difficult and unsatisfying crop. However, their color so delights me I've kept trying. And although this version sure ain't perfect, it comes a lot closer to what I feel about it. It was also fun to do a simple "just pretty" pic. No straining for an impressive (LOL!) abstraction. Plain and simple, with gorgeous fuchsia to boot. And, yes, the original roses, both in the garden live and in the unfussed with pic, were these shades. Well, a couple of the roses were a deeper magenta shade. Close enough, I'd say.
