THE OLD LADY REMEMBERS

The original pic for "The Old Lady Remembers" (Camera Role tthabol [3]) was only my second effort posing before the camera at the top of my new computer screen. Close focus seems to be an issue. The pix on my walls came out crisp and my face, not so much. I have enough to keep me busy but I will probably try working with the computer camera again some day. I did have lots of fun editing this and a couple other pix I took with the 'puter camera, though. BTW, that's a real flower, given to me that afternoon by a close friend.

WAITING FOR THE FLINTSTONES TO COME HOME

"Waiting for the Flintstones to Come Home" (Old Pix-10 054) is a relatively old pic, one I've probably posted here before. I fussed at it a bit today, trying to improve the contrasts (it was a cloudy day when I took the pic), but with only a wee bit of success. This pic will always make me think of my friend Inger (recently deceased) who nicknamed these benches "the Flintstones' living room." :-) I haven't been able to do the long walk by this corner in a very long time and am still hopeful I'll be up to it again ... sometime, when the cows come home ...

THE FERN GOES FISHING

"The Fern Goes Fishing" (Screenshots 2-19-19[4]) is a slightly edited version of a pic I've probably posted here before, many years ago. All I did today was crop it a bit. These ferns are unfolding in their usual places around our retirement community's grounds now. There's a gorgeous tree-like one that I want to get shots of, but I've been passing it at the wrong time of day. And right beneath and slightly to the left of it is a smaller one that I've gotten many shots of over the years. It, too, only awaits the right time of day for me to go at it again. :-) Yeah, spring must really be here if I'm feeling like taking pix. It's been a long photo-drought for me.
